The SA-9800 was Pioneer's top of the line integrated amp in 1979. It was a good looking beast with improved specs and higher power than it's predecessors and gained blue fluorescent power meters (which are personally not to my taste). Great classic amp, unfairly dismissed by modern audiophiles! The double page ad below is from a 1979 magazine:- |
